Saad, Moufti and George are high school friends back in the Middle East. Since then, they have gone their separate ways. In their late teens, Saad and George immigrated to Toronto.
A decade later, Moufti arrives in Toronto from Syria and claims refugee status. Over the course of Moufti’s first weekend in town, the trio begin their journey, learning that breaking taboos is different than living them.
